Chapter 80: Rage
"HAH! You actually think that you who are merely just a 2 Star mage with your pitiful 2000 Battle Power can fight against a 30,000 Battle Power 3 star mage like myself?"
"Haha, you must be delusional." Bridge laughed disdainfully. "Did you let the rumors about you killing a Grade 3 Magic Beast go to your head?. You really are a fool if you did."
He was very unhappy that Drake dared to say such words to him. As a 3 Star mage, he felt Drake’s challenge to him was an insult to him.
’To think this insect dares to talk to me like this.’ Bridge felt fury surging in his heart.
Drake nodded and he said. "You are right that as a 2 star mage it would be delusional to think of fighting against you as I am right now. In fact I wouldn’t have been able to kill those Grade 3 Magic Beasts if it weren’t for my friends working together with me."
Bridge snorted, "Humph, at least you know your place."
"However, you fail to understand something. Don’t misread my words; I did not say I would be fighting against you. In a true one on one fight, the current me would definitely lose without a doubt. But that is why I will not be fighting but killing. I don’t really know how to fight, but I do know how to kill."
"As a 3 Star mage, it would take you about half a second to mobilize your magic power. But at this distance, I can kill you at least seven times in that half-second time it would take you to mobilize your 3 Star magic power."
"Don’t laugh, I’m not joking. I only play with my friends and I should remind you that you do not fall under that category of people. And if you don’t believe me, I will be more than happy to show you. Just say one more disrespectful thing about my parents and I swear on the last drop of my blood, you will not see tomorrow’s sunrise."
"You are already the first outsider to get away with a first warning, there will not be a second. So take this chance and run, but if you test me, you will fail." Drake finished on a low tone and his killing intent exploded. His killing intent completely covered the whole building.
It was so dense and sharp, that even the audience and others that were quite far felt like there was a sharp sword pressed against their necks.
