The man was quite sure Kara was either an idiot or she was confident that someone would come save her.
She's a woman after all; walking up to a man and trying to make a fuss isn't something they'd do unless they were confident in something.
He looked around for a while, scanning the plaza to see if there could be anyone waiting and watching.
All he could see were the new people just joining and a man who seemed to be irritating a beautiful woman.
Coming to the conclusion that this woman was out of her mind, he decided to speak.
"You dare stand before me as a weakling? Do you not value your life, or are you all the more eager to die by my hands?"
Both Veronica and Kara halted after hearing his voice.

Veronica laughed so hard she drew the attention of the others who were also just walking in.
With her arm cupping her stomach, she pointed at the man.
"What the hell was that? Ahahah! He was totally speaking like a nerd just now. OMG, I'm gonna die if I keep laughing like this."
