The morning sun poured through the dorm room’s windows, casting a soft glow on Brandon and Dhayun who were sleeping on the couch.
Dhayun’s eyes fluttered open, catching the morning light as she stretched slowly, her body arching like a cat and her arms reached upward, her fingers brushing the air.
She looked down at Brandon with his body slumped awkwardly against the couch and his head tilted at an odd angle to make sure that she is sleeping comfortably in his lap.
Dhayun’s gaze grew tender and her lips curved into a soft, uncontrollable grin. ’This dumbass... sleeping like that just for me,.’
She couldn’t help but giggle as she reached out, pinching his nose gently, "Dumbass..."
Careful not to wake him, she slid off his lap, her bare feet padding softly against the hardwood floor.
She tiptoed across the room and her heart pounded with the thrill of last night’s confessions as she rushed to the bathroom.
In the bathroom, the mirror reflected her flushed face and she leaned forward, gripping the sink, her fingers trembling with excitement as she stared at herself.
Her voice erupted in a flustered, yapping ramble "Dhayun, Dhayun, you did it. You did it!" she squealed and grabbed her cheeks, squeezing them as her blush deepened.
"A-Are... we like dating now? Like for real?"
She paused and her voice dropped to a nervous murmur "Or... we’re just having an affair?"
