Walking through the Academy, Brandon’s mind was still clouded with Elize’s kiss in the morning.
’Why did she suddenly kiss me?’
’It seemed like a familial love... but...’
His gaze lowered ’Or maybe did she think I might feel down after learning about my mom and trying to show me that she loves me a lot?’
Elize looked worried last night after she told him everything about Marzella.
Maybe that kiss... was her way of reassuring him that even if his mother was gone, she would still love him.
"No, don’t overthink it," he muttered under his breath.
’It was just... just her way of showing care. That’s all. She didn’t mean anything else by it. Probably.’
With a shake of his head, he continued on his way to the classroom.
