Hansel could see that Yanarym would hate Spencer if she ever found out about that affair between the two.
Hansel also takes into consideration that Yanarym would feel betrayed that Spencer would screw her best friend. But who knows? This plan may not work out, however, that was not the only gain in this play. If Spencer were too occupied in pursuing Gale, Hansel would be given enough time to be with Yanarym and convince him that she should choose him to be with.
He could take the easy way, he could drug her and r-ape her in an unconscious state. But sex, it wasn’t about sex anymore. Even though he felt that strong sexual connection, this wasn’t about sex any longer. He wants her love.
"Isn’t it obvious? Spencer likes you too Gale. Are you dense enough to not notice that?" Hansel chuckled and Gale’s eyes widened in bewilderment.
"W-what did you say?"
"I said, Spencer likes you, haven’t you noticed?" Gale blinked her eyes, Hansel laughed louder after seeing how her eyes gleamed with hope. He was never wrong about people- he knew it. Gale was willing to be with Spencer despite the fact that she is Yanarym’s best friend.
He was never wrong when it comes to reading people’s mind and personality, but how come, Yanarym responds to him differently- Hansel remembered Yanarym’s insisting that she likes him as a friend. When in fact, Hansel knew, Yanarym liked him more than friends.
Then, why? Does she like Spencer more than him? He’s better than Spencer. And the only reason why Gale liked Spencer was that Spencer is Yanarym’s boyfriend. So, how come, Yanarym won’t accept him?
