Chapter 12
Spencer instantly straightened up then opened the light of the lampshade but saw no one. He got up on the bed and opened the main light of the bedroom and saw nothing of her trace. Just when he felt anxiousness rising through his system he took the heavy blanket away from the bed wishing that she was just hiding underneath it but found no one.
"RYM!" Losing his composure he rushed out of the bedroom naked and turned the lights on the whole place. But she was nowhere to be found. Feeling his heart would burst out from his chest he ran again back to their bedroom and opened the walk-in closet. There was a visible relief flashed to Spencer’s when he saw her clothes were all there. She didn’t leave him... her things are all there. Thank god, she did not leave him...
Getting back on his senses, he took some clothes and dressed then tried calling her but no one answered. He promptly turned on the tracking device he installed on her earrings that he gave on their recent anniversary. Without any thoughts of hesitation, he drove to her location. Since it is in the middle of the night he can speed up freely because there were no cars that caused traffic by this time. Within a few moments, he found himself driving to a narrow road that he could barely squeeze his car in.
He decided to park it somewhere and rushed towards the cheap-dismantled building. He called her phone again and still, no one answered.
He gritted his teeth because of irritation. His anxious emotion was mixed up with a dread creeping to his chest. And he is getting so mad that he doesn’t know what he would do once he sees her. He never thought that she would leave even if they had agreed that she can’t leave the condo!
The tracking devices pointed Spencer to a wooden door inside of this wretched place. He knocked continuously not thinking about the disturbance he could cause by this hour.
"Wait a minute!" A voice from the door shouted after knocking loudly but he did not stop. "What’s your problem?! It’s midnight!" A strong irritated tone was heard after the door opened. Spencer saw a short woman wearing a plain green shirt with messy hair. "Where’s my girlfriend?" He asked with a dark face. Gale immediately recognized the person who was in front of her.
She was first dazed but instantly regained her sense and made no space for Spencer to walk in. "Rym’s tired, just go back---hey!" Without letting her finish Spencer pushed her aside then got into the small room. He saw Yanarym covered with a thin blanket sleeping on the floor. The rage he was feeling for the woman who left his vicinity was suddenly extinguished seeing this situation.
