Chapter 400: ◙ ANOTHER WOMAN ◙
Chapter 06
They both know what the fuck he was doing in those nights. Why did she suddenly bring it up? Was she mad because of that? Was she jealous and wanted to have revenge? He knew very well that she wouldn’t let anyone touch her other than him. But...
Yanarym swallowed the pizza in her mouth and she heard Guide-sama’s report about Spencer’s thoughts. "I mean, we will just have some girl’s night out. Not going to clubs and drinking... babe, I promise to behave. You can fetch me later in the morning." She cajoled him but his eyes were already narrowing with a resolution that this conversation will end the way he wanted.
"What if I said no?" Spencer said in a firm authoritative tone. "What if I don’t allow you to leave our condo tonight?"
"That would be unfair." She pouted.
"It’s not," he took her hand and squeezed it. "Baby, it’s not safe for you to go outside late at night. Especially being alone with your friend who is just a girl too. Didn’t you tell me before that she is living alone? In a cheap place- no guards or proper security? What if some bad strong men come and hurt you? I will not be there to save you." He reached out for her face and wiped the crumbs on her lips. "Let’s be smart for a second, alright?" He uttered dotingly and she pressed her lips into a thin line as her eyes softened. Spencer smiled widely, he knew that she was about to give in and obey him.
She looked down on the plate, "You’re not gonna give me permission, even if I really wanted to go?"
"What did I just tell you? Baby, come on don’t be stupid, use your brain. It’s not safe out there. Am I doing this for myself? No. Listen to me, I’m telling you this for your safety. Your welfare matters to me." He added and stood up from his seat to sit beside her. She kept her head down and sighed, Spencer brushed her hair to comfort her, when he thought she was about to cry, she didn’t.
"I am stupid?" Yanarym lifted her eyes to look at him with a staid expression. He was stunned. His hand that was petting her hair, froze in the air.
