"Now? Do you want me to go get groceries now?" Spencer asked in awe, "Baby, at this moment?"
"Yeah."
"But I still haven’t eaten breakfast." He said and she paused, she stopped rebutting and sighed again. "Fine." She brushed off his hand and proceeded on eating. Spencer scratched his brow, why is she acting like this today? Does she want his attention? What’s with the rebellious attitude?
After some time, they were ready to go to the university but Yanarym was still quiet. She never talked to him after he refused to buy some milk. Spencer was befuddled by her attitude, he couldn’t follow her sudden changes. She kissed him and demanded something. Now she’s ignoring him since he did not comply with her request. She was never like this, everything was so new for him. Although they’ve been together for years she never caused trouble for him. She was like a perfect girlfriend who acts like a doll beside him. Well, she didn’t really change. She still had her silent manner and soft behavior.
But her treatment towards him changed. She is acting like any other girl to their boyfriends. Right... she was being a girlfriend, a normal girlfriend. It’s new and refreshing but he doesn’t know what he should do. He never pleased any girls. Because they all please him. In Yanarym’s case, she may not have pleased him as anyone did, but she never cared too --- he couldn’t put it in words but them- she- specifically her, she was always formal with him. There was a boundary, limitations -- today, that wall was not there. Or maybe his girlfriend woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
"Do you want to stop at a convenience store to buy some milk?" He asked while driving his car on the highway. He took a glance at her but she remained to stare at the windshield acting like she did not hear him.
"Baby?" He called her once more yet she remained unmoved. He was preparing to call her again but he heard a small voice coming from her.
"No."
