Chapter 46: Awakening ritual (part 2)
I went to a corner on the side, where not many people were there and waited for the ritual to begin.
Soon, Ayesha appeared on the stage, where a giant statue of the goddess of life was placed.
She was in her usual dark attire of a saintess. Followed behind her were many other believers of goddess of life.
Ayesha walked in front of all of them and skimmed through the crowd. Her gaze then landed on me.
She showed a warm smile looking at me and send me a thought transmission.
’You are alone? Where is Setsuna?’
Mother had already informed her that I will be coming with Setsuna.
But she isn’t here anymore.
’She is gone.’ I replied.
’Gone? Is she out? How careless of her? Nevermind, you can go upstairs and stay inside my chamber, I will met you there soon. I will help you in your awakening there.’ She said.
She must be worried about me. Awakening is a rather sensitive topic, even those who show much progress and are thought to awaken highly, might end up getting a low grade core.
But I don’t care about it. I am sure, I will awaken a good... no, i am sure I will awaken the highest one. And why do I think that?
