Chapter 12: The deception and the curse
My body began to get up, I could feel my muscles, my veins about to burst out.
Sweats formed all over my body, trying to cool the heat that was producing in me.
I clenched my fists in rage, as the realisation hit me.
How stupid can I be? But there was nothing in it i could do as well.
In this world, a child doesn't awaken a mana core before the age of 10, normally at the age of 10 because the body before that is underdeveloped.
That body cannot handle the mana and can burst out.
People in past has tried to plant a mana core in their child to give them an early advantage, but the result was something they have never expected in their wildest dreams.
They all died.
Am I going to suffer the same fate as them?
This woman, was her intention to kill me from the beginning?
"Huh? I understand why you are being so untrustworthy of me, but you really think I will kill you after waiting for you for thousands of years?"
