Chapter 667 - 657 - : Ancillary Buildings
"Punishment, execution... The names are quite fitting. I always felt that the Sanctuary was somewhat incomplete in functionality, but with these two doors, it seems much better,"
Then Wen Wen, stroking his chin, asked, "But why have I never heard of these two places before?"
Nivea said with a smile, "That’s because these two places have been open for less than a day. They probably became accessible after you captured that fugitive when your strength met the conditions to unlock this area."
"Since they have just opened, these two subsidiary spaces are not yet ready for large-scale use. However, if you want to mete out punishment or execute one or two monsters, that would be possible. Keep in mind, though, that the Execution Room itself is very powerful, but the energy consumption for hosting an execution will be borne by you..."
Wen Wen nodded in satisfaction, "I will experiment with it myself when the time comes... But this room is so large, there must be more than just these two doors." The room was spacious and, from the layout of the space, there should be more than just two doors.
Nivea nodded and responded, "You guessed right. In the past, there were more than just two doors here, including ’Warden’s Office,’ ’Museum of Oddities,’ ’Superpower Research Institute,’ and several other doors, each leading to an independent building-type Containment Item."
"However, those buildings detached themselves during the previous dormancy of the Sanctuary. If you want to use the functions of those spaces, you’ll have to find them yourself."
Wen Wen felt as if a load of tasks had suddenly piled onto his shoulders, so he asked Nivea, "Are there any consequences for the Sanctuary if those buildings aren’t recovered?"
"It depends on whether you need those spaces. The main body of the Sanctuary consists only of five levels including Catastrophe, and what you control is the complete form of the Sanctuary. All other buildings, including the Punishment Facility and Execution Room, are merely subsidiary spaces. Recovering them would be the icing on the cake, but it wouldn’t really matter if they remained lost."
