Wen Wen said sarcastically, "If you no longer crave revenge, then what is this spectacle all about?"

Lord Tian Shi fell silent for a moment before saying, "After the hatred was stripped away, the desire to protect the townspeople gained the upper hand, and I was caught in a conflict."

"At the same time, I realized that the Hateful Demon Monster I created had become a monster beyond my control, I only wanted to seek revenge on this town, not to create a monster that would destroy everything."

"Therefore, I created this Illusionary Realm, making sure that the Hateful Demon Monster’s vengeance was confined to this town, so it would not affect people outside the town."

"And because the Hateful Demon Monster could gain strength from the fear of its enemies, I used the Illusionary Realm to influence the whole town, preventing it from causing any panic during the entire process of vengeance."

Wen Wen nodded thoughtfully, seemingly understanding why the Hateful Demon Monster did not directly seek revenge but did so within the Illusionary Realm instead. The bizarrely normal living corpses must have come about in this way.

"But later, as its strength grew, my control over the town weakened and those corpses still caused unrest."

Wen Wen had an epiphany, "I was wondering why, after the panic, it suddenly got so much stronger. It seems that the panic allowed it to quickly master the ’learned’ strength."

Through Lord Tian Shi’s narration, Wen Wen figured out why this act of vengeance had become so complicated; it was because, after planning his strategy for revenge, contradictions within himself had led him to create many dilemmas to hinder the Hateful Demon Monster’s vengeance.
