Wen Wen took a deep breath; he knew just how much those former prisoners hated containment officers like him, so a storm-like assault was bound to happen soon.

And this creature was likely stronger than Aker Aru, so escaping from its clutches wouldn’t be easy. Wen Wen might have to hide inside the Sanctuary to find refuge.

"But why would this creature appear here? Yueshan City is sealed off by a barrier. It couldn’t possibly come in quietly, unless it had been in Yueshan City before the barrier was put up..."

"So that mysterious organization in the Southern Border Great Forest really is them!"

Wen Wen almost wanted to slap himself; why had he insisted before coming here that it wasn’t them?

But on reflection, an organization with such formidable power and shrouded in so much secrecy, if not those fugitives, where else could one look?

Apart from a few words uttered previously, most of the sounds Xiuluman made were meaningless, and Wen Wen couldn’t understand what it was saying, only feeling the hostility that seemed almost palpable.

Soon enough, Xiuluman cut the chatter. Several of its eyes shone brighter than the others and shot several beams of different colored light at Wen Wen.

With his nerves on edge, Wen Wen narrowly dodged these beams, and looking back, he saw that the spots hit by the beams were completely destroyed.
