The evacuated crowds would likely take a few days before they could return to their homes, after which they would forget the experiences of these past days.

The mission on the Ranger Terminal was also called off, since the incident had concluded, there was no longer any necessity for Rangers to deal with it, and more specialized teams would follow up.

Wen Wen expected to be approached for inquiries about Black Cross, so he needed to prepare his explanations in advance.

After listening briefly to the Demon Hunter discussions nearby, Wen Wen learned they were all talking about the suddenly rampaging artifacts and the new Secret Organization ’Black Cross’; no one mentioned the mysteriously vanished museum.

Therefore, Wen Wen also pretended to be unaware of the existence of that museum, especially since the Ranger ’Mystic Detective’ wasn’t even in the city at the time of the incident.

The atmosphere at the site wasn’t particularly solemn; although the situation was serious and the Demon Hunters were quite worn out, there had been no casualties among the civilians, which was already the best possible outcome.

The only one injured was Xiong Ying, who she was most concerned about.

Originally, Wen Wen had planned to send Xiong Ying to the Sanctuary for supervision after resolving this matter, but he never expected him to suffer such injuries due to an incident he triggered.

Fortunately, Xiong Ying hadn’t died; otherwise, Wen Wen’s already poor mood might have worsened.
