Chapter 58: The Dragon Girl
It wasn’t hard for us to get through the crowd outside the inn but inside it was astonishing to see what the interior was like. They had beautiful marble floors with something similar for the walls.
The inside of the inn honestly reminded me of some of the hotels back in my old world but this was incredible. It’s completely deceiving on the outside of the building so you wouldn’t expect this.
"Got a room for us." Shimada says before letting out a yawn.
"Good, I think we’re all tired." Cynthia speaks up with a bit of a sleepy tone to her voice.
We just had to follow Shimada to the room like we followed him through the mountains but it wasn’t that big of a deal. I hope he doesn’t get some sort of leader idea in his head after the mountains.
I don’t think he’d be a bad leader or anything like that, it’s just I’d rather be the one leading the party since it was my journey to begin with.
Or I guess it would make more sense to say it was a journey for me and Amelia originally before anyone else. Cynthia would be the only other person that would’ve been on the journey either way.
It was her job to come along and protect Amelia since her uncle doesn’t know me that we’ll. I think that everyone is starting to get to know one another better but it takes time to learn everything about each other.
"This is definitely the room, here we are guys." Shimada says while opening up the door.
