Chapter 50: The Reaper of Helfri (1)
People could be heard clanging around outside as the party prepared for the fight awaiting them. Everyone has their weapons ready to go against the army outside.
Because that’s what would await them, an army of soldiers that Helfri had hiding for a potential attack. They never knew if someone would actually be brave enough to travel inside so it was always safe to have them on standby.
I’m confident in a lot of things right now, especially my friends who have proven to me that they are strong enough to handle this whole situation. We’ll make it through this together, there won’t be any problems.
"I can see it now, we have quite a lot of enemies outside waiting for us. I hope everyone is ready." Liora warns as she prepares to remove the spell.
No one needed to speak at this time since we all knew what awaited us outside the doors of the building. The swordsman would protect the mages as they did their work in the background.
It wasn’t anything that we needed to communicate since we all had that understanding to begin with. A lot of blood is going to be shed and I don’t know what the outcome will be.
Artemis and Shimada take the front line as the spell is removed, leaving the door open to the outside now. It doesn’t take long for the two of them to rush out there, already starting to clash with the blades of the soldiers outside.
Soldiers running all around them while swinging swords is all that can be heard, along with shouting from the enemies who need help. Clang! Clash! Clang!
It feels like a never ending battle as the two of them fight in front, keeping the enemies from rushing the backline.
