Chapter 24: Self Control
Amelia, Cynthia, and Shimada all seemed to be surprised about my self control with this whole situation. It's not easy in the slightest to hold back the urge to kill those two guys standing before me.
I just know I have to do this smart or else we won't have anything to gain from it so this is the way to go about it. As much as it really pisses me off, this is right.
"With that done, let's continue." Shimada says before letting out a small chuckle.
He was probably hoping that I would kill them since it would be something entertaining to watch. I really don't understand this guy much— He really doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.
Regardless they all follow him around, seeing the different sights of the kingdom as they get familiar with it. Remembering where shops are, different meeting spots for the followers of the goddess of death, all of it.
The day would pass rather quickly with everything they see and everything they learn about the kingdom before Shimada finally took them back to the place they'd be staying at.
A rather big building with a sign that read "Stormhaven Inn." a beautiful inn with lightning like engravings across the walls, different paintings from journeys the owners went on, and even a pretty active pub area.
"Pretty popular place to stay?" Cynthia speaks up with a bit of curiosity.
"Not as popular as the other options but yes. "Shimada responds with a smile on his face.
