I don't know if I should be upset about the killing of that being or not, but I did what was necessary. It killed me once already— it would've made sure I was dead a second time if needed.
He took a seat on the bed and laid back once again, taking in everything he experienced earlier. The thoughts of the abyss still linger in his mind, as well as the girl he met before coming back to reality.
Hearing her voice earlier threw him off, something he didn't expect to hear since she never spoke before that.
I'm going to have to accept that she'll be helping me in the future, she seems to be a big contribution to the shadows. Allowing me to use them in that fight— giving me an advantage.
I guess it would be wrong to say she contributes since it seems that she's the main source behind it. It would make more sense for me to say she is the shadows if anything.
It's fine though, I worry about those thoughts later. Sleep would be the next best idea for now.
Artemis got a bit more comfortable before finally shutting his eyes for the night, slowly drifting off.

The harsh stone ground that I always sleep on wasn't the most comforting thing in the world, but at least my family was better in this life.
