Chapter 50: Charles Kilvish Last Stand (part-2)
The sky above the Kilvish Clan was drenched in crimson light, the heavens quivering under the weight of colliding Daos. Amidst the chaos of ruptured formations and shattered spirit beasts, one figure strode forward like a dying star, his aura flaring with borrowed time.
Charles Kilvish.
His eyes glowed with a furious resolve, and behind him, the celestial projection of the Sword Maiden stood once more in her divine form, pulsing with sword intent, radiant and terrible.
High above, the jade-masked figure of Mirror Immortal slowly turned his gaze toward the battlefield. His robes of starlight shimmered as he hovered in place, untouched by the destruction below. His voice echoed across the crumbling plains, cold and divine.
"Kilvish Patriarch lad... surrender yourself and bring me the Divine Elixir your founder, the Shadow Immortal, has hidden."
Charles didn’t flinch. Instead, he met the Divine Realm cultivator’s voice with one of unshakable steel.
"So, that’s your aim... The Divine Elixir Amrit."
As if in answer to his words, the Sword Maiden behind him shimmered brighter. Her radiance spilt across the battlefield like moonlight on a blood-soaked lake. At the same time, the Eclipse Veil Formation, once on the brink of collapse, suddenly surged with new life, its ancient runes glowing anew as they intertwined seamlessly with the Void Lock Domain.
Two ancient, advanced formations now stood superimposed upon one another, an impossible feat. And Charles was their core.
He raised his hand.
Snap.
