I am Villain Cultivator

Chapter 46: Crisis of the Kilvish Clan (part-2)

The skies over the Kilvish Clan were torn asunder.

The Eclipse Veil Formation, once the clan’s greatest shield, flickered erratically. Ancient runes that had stood for centuries now dimmed and pulsed like the fading heartbeat of a dying beast. Above, suspended in the heavens like a judgmental god, the Divine Realm cultivator known as Mirror Immortal extended his hand, drawing upon Qi so dense it distorted reality.

"Purple East Qi," he intoned, his voice calm and cosmic.

A radiant force descended, no longer just an attack, but a manifestation of Dao itself. The very fabric of space around the Kilvish stronghold warped, gravitational lines cracking like broken glass. The Veil howled in agony, shadows spinning like torn silk through the dome’s surface.

Within the shuddering dome, chaos erupted.

Elder Varun rushed through the rubble-strewn courtyard, eyes wide as he found Kaal staggering toward the battlefield, blood still fresh on his lips from the fight with Kevin Haze.

"Young Master!" Varun yelled.

Kaal ignored him. Gritting his teeth, he pushed forward, the roars of battle drawing him like a moth to flame. "They’re destroying everything!" he snarled. "I have to help!"

But Varun moved faster. With one swift motion, he struck the side of Kaal’s neck.

Kaal’s crimson eyes widened... then dimmed. His body fell limply forward into Varun’s arms.

"I’m sorry," Varun whispered, catching him. "But you’re the future. You must live."
