Chapter 20: Educator Error Room
Kota sprinted back down the corridor, Reina's shout fading behind him, his sneakers pounding the slick, veined marble.
There had to be a bypass, a crack in the game's cruel code.
His mind raced through hundreds of maps, side quests, fail routes—then it hit.
The "Educator Error Room," a rare speedrun event from secret difficulty mode, a trap for dominant NPCs, unseen by most players who'd broken their party leader's will by now.
But Kota, obsessive flag-triggerer, had memorized every obscure path.
He veered down a side hall, eyes locking on a faint crack behind a half-slid rune mirror, its glowing sigils pulsing with a sultry, warning light.
The bypass.
He shoved through the narrow slit in the marble, grinding against rune glyphs that flared angrily, static sparking against his shoulders, singeing his hoodie with a sizzle of arcane heat.
One final squeeze, the stone scraping his skin, and he dropped into the throne chamber, the air sweltering with raw, arousal-charged energy.
