Luna stumbled out of C’s house, her cheeks still flushed pink from his teasing words earlier.
The cold night air hit her face like a refreshing splash of water, helping to cool the heat of her embarrassment.

Even if she refused to admit it out loud, the conversation she’d just had with C was... strangely enjoyable.
