Chapter 63 - Negatives To Fame
Having eaten his breakfast and recovered most of his strength, Logan left his room and walked down the corridors to meet up with his friends before going to their first class of the year.
After walking for a few minutes, he found Grant waving at him, with the rest of his friends all standing around him.
"Good morning, everyone," Logan said with a smile as he joined the group.
"Good morning," they greeted one by one as they started walking to the assigned classroom.
Grant couldn’t hold back his curiosity and slowed down to walk beside Logan.
"What was the meeting about?" he asked, curiosity clear in his voice.
"You know," Logan began. "Since I took over the CEO position at my company, I sometimes need to leave campus to handle business stuff and keep things in order."
"I had to get the permission for that sorted out with Dean Andreas."
Grant’s smile faltered slightly at the mention of Logan’s CEO role, his thoughts drifting to what had happened to the rest of Logan’s family.
"...Right," he muttered. "Sorry. I didn’t mean to pry."
Logan gave a small shake of his head. "It’s fine. You didn’t say anything wrong."
