Chapter 10: The Boxer and the Dead
Silas lunged, meeting the wolf pack closest to him in a burst of energy, his feet moving in perfect sync with his body, techniques honed to perfection even in a body lacking the muscle memory.
Three wolves lunged at once, crashing toward Silas head-on.
Silas laughed, slamming his air-covered fist into the ground, causing an explosion as the compressed air ignited on impact. Dirt and debris burst upward, disorienting the wolves and sending them sprawling.
"Gotta fight dirty to win!"
He cackled, tightening his grip as he spotted the nearest wolf scrambling beside him, its failed lunge leaving it vulnerable.
"Time to test this out!"
Silas grinned, smashing his explosive fist into the wolf's chest. A controlled burst of energy erupted from the strike, making quick work of the beast.

Suddenly, Silas' robes gleamed, dark crimson tendrils swirling outward to envelop the slain wolf. Silas stepped back, eyes narrowing as the wolf's body jerked, its dead form twitching back to life. White-glowing pupils mirrored Silas' own.

Before Silas could even react to the effect, the other wolves recovered, lunging at him again. More wolves, emboldened by the chaos, charged from behind.
