Jack nodded and said, "Emily, okay. Can I still come to you in the future?"
"Of course you can." Emily felt relieved to finally make up with Jack. She felt very relaxed and smiled charmingly, "Jack, what is the relationship between you and Ms. Adams after all?"
"Emily, what do you mean? I don’t quite understand." Jack was suddenly taken aback, thinking that Emily had discovered his secret with Eva. He explained hesitantly, "I have no relationship with Ms. Adams, obviously!"

"Jack, how can you do this?" Emily’s face darkened, her tone cold. "Was it you on the balcony of the apartment last time? Who was that woman, and did you use any tricks to get Eva to sleep with you?"
Upon hearing Jack’s confession, Emily suddenly became like a different person, grilling Jack for details. She didn’t expect her speculation to be true, and the thought of Jack being with two women made her very uncomfortable. Jack realized he had fallen into Emily’s trap and was at a loss. But now that things had come to this, he couldn’t deny it anymore.
He had to honestly tell Emily about his relationship with Eva, but he avoided the topic of Kay, only saying that she was a divorced single woman and they were no longer in contact. "Emily, no more questions, please. It’s not Eva’s fault, I forced her."
"You do have the demeanor of a man, knowing to protect your woman." Emily felt somewhat relieved. At least Jack didn’t shirk responsibility, which could be considered manly.
Thinking about how Eva’s skin had become much softer recently, and how she dressed more stylishly and sexily, Emily realized it was because of Jack’s influence.
