’’Ah! Time to meditate and recover before I continue my carnival.’’ Nero mumbled as he got ready to meditate.

The meditation was deep, restorative. Nero sat cross-legged amidst the frozen wreckage of the Minotaur’s demise, his breathing slow and rhythmic. The ambient prana of the pocket world flowed into him, rich and abundant, filling his cores, soothing his muscles, knitting his wounds. His super regeneration worked in tandem with the meditation, accelerating his recovery. Within half an hour, he was whole again—his bruises faded, his energy restored, his mind clear.

He rose to his feet, flexing his fingers. The shattered remains of the Minotaur lay scattered around him, a testament to the battle that had taken place. He glanced at his golden bracelet. One had red skin, its body radiating heat, its breath forming small jets of flame. The other had blue skin, its body emanating cold, frost spreading beneath its feet.

They noticed him.

The red ogre roared, a jet of flame shooting from its mouth. The blue ogre followed, a wave of ice spreading toward him. They were twins, their coordination perfect, their movements synchronized. Their combined power elevated them to the upper level of A-rank, equal to a Red Knight with years of experience.

Nero’s expression remained unchanged. He stepped forward, his body already shifting.

His dark blue hair turned white. His pupils gained the white cross. Ice formed along his limbs, his skin taking on a crystalline sheen. He had entered his Law of Ice form.

He launched himself at the red ogre.

He had entered his Law of Fire form. He raised his hand, and a wall of flame erupted, meeting the frost in a hissing explosion of steam.

He moved between the two ogres, switching forms with each strike. Ice against fire, fire against ice. He was a blur of motion, his body shifting seamlessly between elements. The ogres fought back with brutal efficiency, their coordination making them a formidable pair. The red ogre’s flames forced him to retreat. The blue ogre’s frost slowed his movements. He stopped retreating. He planted his feet, his body shifting into his Ice form, and met the red ogre’s charge head-on. His sword met the ogre’s club, the impact sending shockwaves through the air.
