Chapter 28: More than Seven Laws
Aaron, their main teacher, continued with his lessons.
"Who can tell me the basics of the existing laws nowadays?"
At this question, most of the cadets raised their hands, but Aaron didn’t choose immediately; he observed each one of them before finally selecting Nero for some reason.
"Cadet Nero, tell me how many laws exist."
All eyes turned to Nero, who calmly rose to his feet to answer.
"Generally, there are Seven Laws: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Darkness, and Light."
Every cadet nodded, thinking at least Nero knew the basics, but his next words shocked many.
"But I believe there are more laws—more than seven."
"Hoh! Why do you think so?" Aaron wasn’t shocked or angered by Nero’s words like most of the cadets; instead, he was curious and pleased to hear his student’s perspective. Most people in the world would assert that only seven major laws existed, never considering that there might be more.
