Chapter 15: Test
The following morning, Nero took a bath and then had a light breakfast before heading to the academy. Today was the day of the tests, and passing them would secure his acceptance.
Although it didn’t show on his face, Nero felt a tension building inside him as he wondered whether he would pass or not. Shaking his head to dispel those distracting thoughts, he resolved to focus on the test. He would succeed.
A few minutes later he arrived, the academy was full of people today.
On one side, the students were gathering and forming lines.
"New students! Please have your student IDs ready in advance!"
"You’ll need to show your student ID here to receive your placement test number!"
"The written test will begin at 10 o’clock!"
Thanks to the bustling crowd and loud voices, he quickly understood the situation.
He naturally took his place at the end of the line.
"Next."
As the line of students steadily moved forward, he took one step at a time.
