Reyhan glanced at the system screen floating before him.
"Hold on a sec, can’t you see I’m busy?" he whispered quietly.

The system responded briefly... its tone almost resigned.
Sylphia finally let go of her hug. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand.
"Why, Father?" she asked with an innocent smile, though her eyes were still slightly red.
Reyhan’s heart felt like it had been pierced by a gentle arrow.
"Never thought... I’d have a daughter this sweet and beautiful."
"Father?" Sylphia repeated, tilting her head, confused at Reyhan’s silence.
"Eh, it’s nothing..." Reyhan smiled warmly. "...Sweetheart."
