Chapter 10: An Exceptional Gift
When Theo and his three Knights succeeded in slaughtering all the bandits, one of the five people Theo helped was shocked and amazed, she was a girl around 16 years old. The girl was surprised by what Theo did with Theo’s three guardian knights.
With such a soft voice, the girl said,
"That... that figure looked like a squad leader."
"Is it possible that he is a noble?"
The girl had a confused face, and was thinking to herself about Theo who was still 12 years old but could give absolute orders to the Knights, and the three Knights without hesitation accepted the order, then killed all the bandits without a single one remaining.
"Are you guys okay?" Theo said in a polite and charismatic tone.
"Yes, we are fine sir. Thank you for saving us." Said the reply from the middle-aged man who stood up with a slight bow to show his respect as thanks.
However, at that time the middle-aged man looked restless. Like there was something he was worried about. Theo who saw it asked the man,
"Sorry, may I ask what your name is, Uncle? And why are you in such a hurry? Is there something you’re worried about?" Theo said in a formal and polite voice.
"Ah, sorry sir, my name is Cedric Valemont. We are in a hurry because we are currently being chased by troops from the Velamir noble family." Said the middle-aged man with a polite and formal reply, while bowing his body as a knight’s salute.
"Hmph. Why did you get chased? Did you guys steal something? Theo said again with suspicion and caution.
