Sue
I was furious as hell when I went off to the kitchen to go grab the princes dinner. I barely even had time to smoothen down my hair before I was being ushered out by lady Beatrice, immediately after the princes betrothed left. I could just imagine how I look right now with hand prints over my face, my stomach growling with hunger cause I haven’t eaten a thing today, while I trudged up the stairs with the princes’ meal.
All that had happened to me today was their fault, and again, I wished I had poison so I could poison them. I was still so furious when I arrived in where they’d be having their meal, in the dining area on this floor— which is the same one Damon and I ate together in one night.
I knocked on the door before stepping in, and the sight that greeted me was one that had me stiffening in shock and confusion. Angelo and Landon were whispering something ti Damon, who was backing me, but he was breathing hard and it sounded quite labored— along with the way his shoulders were moving with each inhale and exhale. In the next moment, Angelo and Landon glanced over at me at the same time.
"I- I brought your meal..." I muttered, still feeling annoyed cause right now, I just felt a little concerned feeling course through me at the sight of Damon, one which I quickly replaced with anger.
I walked into the room and set the tray on the table, not bothering to set everyone on the table from the tray.
When I glanced over at the princes, the two of them still had their eyes on me, and Damon was still backing me. That’s when I noticed Angelo and Landon were holding Damon’s hands, almost like they were keeping him in place.
Before I could get a word out, Landon was speaking, his voice harsh and sharp.
"Who hurt you?!"
I blinked in surprise and confusion, feeling caught off guard.
