"What?" I whispered, my heart pounding hard against my ribs. He still looked furious as hell, and his eyes flashed for a moment, making me flinch a little just as he patted his laps again.

"Come over here," he said and my eyes widened even more this time. I hadn’t heard wrong. He was really asking me to come over his laps.

"Just do as I say before I get angrier," Angelo called out and I flinched.

"I can’t just come over because you asked me to, you know. There needs to be an actual reason..." I muttered and beside me, Landon let out a low snort.
