I was beyond relieved when the Prince’s acted like they hadn’t heard that question.
"Any other question?" Angelo asked and I tuned the rest of what was being said out, till we all walked off the stage. I was still breathing hard till we got to the part which was behind the stage and away from the eyes of the crowd gathered.
"We did good, yes?" Landon asked his brothers who nodded at the same time.
"Yup, I think so. Surprisingly, they accepted her way easily than I expected." Landon said as his eyes focused on me. A moment later, the rest of the brothers were staring at me as well and I squired underneath their sharp gazes.
"So, are you happy now that you’re gonna be Luna? Or you still wanna back out of this marriage?" Damon drawled and I pressed my lips into a thin line, choosing not to respond.
"Don’t tease her, Damon. Not out here where anyone can overhear," Angelo said and Damon rolled his eyes and was about to say something when a man I didn’t recognize came up to the princes.
"The king and queen just left," he revealed and I stiffened, my mind returning back to the look I saw on the king’s fsce minutes ago.
"Think he’s mad?" Damon asked Landon he snorted.
