Chapter 33: Getting Ready

I was nervous as hell, because I didn’t know what the future held for me. At least before the last few days, I still believed i had a chance of escaping this fate, but now, it seems like there was no getting out of it no matter what, and that realization was extremely saddening.
A sudden gathering was being held by the three Prince’s tonight, and they sent for all the pack’s members to attend. Everyone was excited and curious at the same time.
Apparently, it was rare for gatherings to be sprung upon the pack members without any warning and that it could mean they had something very important to announce that couldn’t wait. A lot of maids around the palace were already speculating that it was because the princes wanna announce themselves that they’d be getting married to their betrothed.
But they were so wrong. I was the only one that knew why the gathering was being held. It was because tonight, they were gonna announce me as their fated mate to everyone, and that was so damn frightening.
I was currently being dressed up by my maids, and this time, three more women were ordered to come assist them in dressing me up, because tonight was a special occasion. My maids thought Damon wanted me to look extra good as his mistress and were all happy for me, while telling me that this meant I won’t be getting discarded even after Damon get married to Adele.
They had no idea that u was the one who Damon was gonna be getting married to.
"My lady, do you like this color?" Iris held up a pair of pink shoes and I nodded even though I barely saw the design. I couldn’t be bothered by what I’m currently being dressed in, not when I knew that I was being dressed up to be walked right into the doom that awaited me.
When it was just me and Damon, I used to think that my life was completely ruined, and I used to think our back and forths were the worst thing that could ever happen to me. However, with the three Prince’s combined together now, I was realizing now that my life was completely doomed.
