Chapter 30: argument

My cheeks flamed brightly as I tried to pull away from his grip, but his grip was extremely strong, pinning me in place. I was so annoyed, if I had a knife on me right now, I’d have stabbed the three of them with it. If I also wasn’t in a towel and nothing else; I’d have tried to use some of the martial skills I have against them— but even I know that would be pointless because I was already outnumbered since I’m just one and they’re three.
When Angelo stepped before me, I wanted to avert my gaze but also didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me glancing away. He grinned down at me before leaning down a little.
"How was your night, kitten? Did you dream of me?"
I stiffened at the sound of that nickname Becker spluttering, glaring daggers at him.
"Don’t call me that! And I did dream of you, I dreamt of stabbing you with my knife." I hurled at him but his grin only brightened while Landon laughed behind me. Damon let out a scoff like he was bored from his spot across the room.
"Do we really have time for this, guys? Didn’t we come here to deliver a message to her?" Damon demanded and Angelo’s smile faded a little as he pulled back then turned to face Damon.
"We’ll do just that, brother. But a little fun wouldn’t hurt." He pointed out and Damon said nothing.
When he glanced back at me, he looked me over for a few seconds and I swallowed, my throat feeling dry.
