The Cursed Triplet Alphas' Fated Mate

Chapter 11: He’s So Annoying

Sue

"Huh?" I blurted out, eyes widened and filled with shock as his words washed over me. That was the last thing I expected him to say to me, so I was beyond shocked.

He pursed his lips, staring away from me for a moment and my eyes trailed over his body. The shirt he had on was straining around his muscles and his jaw clenched for a moment before he focused on me again.

"You heard me. If you don’t want to lose your life, don’t go about telling anyone that we’re mates." He repeated and the frown on my face deepened as I tentatively stepped closer to him.

"Who’d try to kill me?" I questioned and he frowned at me before glancing away again.

"That’s none of your concern. Just stick to what I tell you and you’ll be alright." He repeated and I felt irritation begin to grow within me.

"Why can’t you just tell me who it is?" I demanded and he narrowed his eyes at me, starting to appear annoyed at me.

"Cause you don’t need to know." He responded and I bristled.

"But I do need to know! It’s only logical that I’d want to know if someone’s about to kill me. How do you expect me to carry on living here after knowing some unknown person might try to kill me?" I demanded and Damon pinched the bridge of his nose.

"If you don’t go around telling people you’re our fated mates, then you literally have nothing to worry about." He snapped and I felt myself bristling again in annoyance. This man was absolutely impossible, couldn’t he see why I deserve to know the person who might try to kill me? It’s only logical that I want to know.

I opened my mouth to say something but he suddenly took my elbow and began to lead me back to the entrance of the wing palace the palace which I was brought to last night, and he didn’t stop till he shoved me into my bedroom and stepped in after me.
