Chapter 9: Conversations With The Bros
Damon
"What if you try being nice to her?" Landon suddenly said, breaking the silence and I leveled him with an unimpressed look. He rolled his eyes with a lazy shrug.
"After you explained the whole thing, I think the biggest problem here is because you’re too cold to her." He continued. We were seated around a feast, and after eating together, we were finally talking about the reason why I was here. I then thoroughly explained the whole thing that happened last night and this morning to them.
"That’s bullshit. Am I supposed to be nice to her? After accepting her as our mate, she’s supposed to be docile and treat us with respect. But she’s the complete opposite. Her mouth never stops running, and she’s just a lot to handle." I spat out, feeling irritated at the thought of my mate. Her face appeared across my mind and I felt a deep longing from my wolf, one which I ignored.
"Dear brother, you’re missing something here. Are you forgetting that she tried getting us to reject her countless times? That’s why she’s not falling at our feet in thanks that we accepted her as our mate, because she actually wanted us to reject her." Angelo pointed out after taking a sip of his wine.
"That’s why you should try to be nice to her, for the sake of the curse at least because you need the curse broken as soon as possible, so that she can come spend time with us and help break the curse on us as well." He continued and I let out a disgruntled sound. The thought of being nice to sue left a sour taste in my mouth, especially whenever I remember our encounter this morning and the slap she gave me.
"Right now, I plan to fuck my pent up energy out tonight." Landon announced and Angelo and I rolled our eyes simultaneously.
"Trust me, no one is surprised." Angelo responded with an amused snort.
"Damon could use a good fuck as well. I’m certain fucking our mate would do a lot of wonders to you." Landon drawled, eyes trained on me as he spoke and I rolled my eyes before leaning back against my chair.
