Moonlight Betrayal

Chapter 59

Chapter 59

Kaeleen’s POV

I couldn’t help but laugh at Felipe’s words. He was lying through his teeth. Everyone in my pack knew who Leon was at this point. When I had first come back from the Moonshade pack after the meeting, my annoyance had been obvious for everyone to see. I was livid, and at some point, my members had given me space, but I calmed down later.

During that time, they asked around. Rebecca specifically had inquired about what was going on and why I was grumpy, and she told them the story of how everything had gone down in the Moonshade pack. She had been annoyed as well. And even Alex, who liked to claim that his wife was the gossip, had spread the news. So everyone knew about the Moonshade pack and the fact that the Alpha was the reason they got to meet Astrid so late. They also hated that he treated her like trash and the fact that he disrespected her.

"What do you mean you don’t know me?" I heard Leon ask Felipe in anger.

Felipe replied calmly, "Am I supposed to know you? Are you an actress, an actor, a musician, or perhaps you are in politics like our Rebecca, or more famous than half the members of our pack?"

"I do not have to be in politics to be famous," Leon gritted out.

"True. Our Alpha isn’t in politics, but he’s famous due to his numerous businesses. Is that what you do? Are you a businessman?" Felipe asked, purposely getting on Leon’s nerves.

I was dying with laughter. I could switch to the cameras at the entrance to see how Leon was reacting to the obvious disrespect, but I wasn’t going to do that. There was no need to familiarize myself with his face before I could even see him face to face. Just knowing that he was here made me irk already.

"Felipe," I called out.

"Yes? Should I send him away?" he asked hopefully.
