Chapter 33: New System Condition
Dapper returned home and saw Belinda sitting on the couch in the living room. She wore a pair of shorts and an oversized T-shirt, a big change from her usual goth style and heavy makeup. Even now, without the makeup, she still carried that gothic aura.
As Dapper approached her, intending to flirt, he quickly picked up on the eye signals she was giving him. Catching on, he immediately changed course and pretended like he was reaching for the remote beside her.
"How was your day?" he asked, starting up a fake conversation.
"It was fine. Just reading and watching TV all day," she replied, playing along smoothly.
"Where’s my wife, though?" Dapper asked casually.
"She was here a moment ago, but she hid behind the curtains the second you came in," Belinda revealed. Dapper turned his gaze toward the curtains and, sure enough, saw a very human-shaped outline pressing against the fabric.
’Fuck. I need to be more careful. If Belinda wasn’t smart enough to give me a heads-up, Ruth would’ve caught us red-handed. I really need to tell Ruth about my system soon. I just can’t find the right time.’
"Waaah, you traitor!" Ruth shouted playfully, dashing out from behind the curtain and wrapping her arms around Dapper, burying her face in his chest like she used to. "Welcome home, husband. Did you drink?" she asked, sniffing him more closely.
"Yeah, had a few drinks with my friends," Dapper answered.
"Haa~ do you like it?" Ruth asked, gazing into his eyes with a sultry smile. Her body pressed against him as she reached down and grabbed his cock through his pants.
