Chapter 29: Problem with the Girls
"School resumes next week. Still no news about Anna?" A young man with light blue hair and eyes asked, looking at the young man before him—Aden.
"Well..." The young prince looked around slightly as though to ensure discreteness before turning back to his friend, Ansley.
"Well... there is, actually," he said, and Ansley’s eyes widened with interest.
"A Legacy."
To this, Ansley frowned.
"What?"
"Yes. Father aided the Estellias with our special troops, which cooperated with their shadow squad—a request from the duke himself that my father agreed to," said the prince calmly.
"What? Even His Majesty got involved in the search?" he asked in shock.
"It seems you don’t get the gravity of the situation. There are barely few as talented as Annabelle. She is, of course, an asset to the kingdom. Her entrance to the Arcane Legacy with her ability is already set in stone, and that would of course raise our standing in the eyes of the world. We have been looked down on for too long," he said, his eyes cold.
"So what happened?"
"A coincidence," he said.
