Chapter 142: TEN MORE BOSSES
Understanding Logan’s taunt, the goblin boss let out a furious roar. The entire chamber trembled slightly like a mini earthquake, and dust and debris began to fall as if the place was about to collapse. Raising its massive club, the boss charged straight at Logan.
Logan lunged as well. The boss swung its massive club at Logan. But Logan flipped in the air and easily dodged it, then sent a flying kick at its head. The monster skidded back almost ten metres. It enraged the goblin boss even more. It charged again and started swinging the club haphazardly with all its force.
But Logan kept twisting, pivoting, flipping in the air and dodged all its attacks smoothly. It wasn’t even a challenge for him.
Suddenly Logan threw a powerful punch packed with both internal energy and wind mana. It sent the boss flying with a boom. It crashed in the wall creating a huge, spiderweb like crack. There was a pause. And then the boss crumbled along with the wall. Debris and dust started to fly and cover the space.
"Is that all you have got? Come on! Atleast make it a bit challenging." Logan was enjoying the fight as no one was watching. He had no tension about someone finding out about his cultivation or five affinities. He felt like he was his past self again.
The war hero.
The dust hadn’t even fully settled when the goblin boss’s roar echoed once more.
BOOM!
From within the shattered wall, the hulking figure emerged. Blood dripped from its forehead, and its armor was cracked in multiple places. But its eyes still burned with hatred and rage. It lifted its massive club again and let out another furious howl before stomping forward like a maddened beast.
"You’re still standing?" Logan tilted his head with a smirk. "Good. I was just getting warmed up anyway."
The boss lunged again, this time faster and more reckless. It brought its club down with a thunderous vertical smash. The entire ground cracked, sending shockwaves through the chamber floor.
But Logan was no longer there.
