Chapter 139: TRAINING RESUMES
"The new kid... from the Hunter Guild test?"
"He looks young... but damn, there’s something about his eyes."
Logan ignored them and quietly took a seat near the corner window. He glanced at the menu posted on the wall, then raised a hand to call for service.
Sylvie noticed and hurried over, bowing with a small smile.
"Good evening. Would you like something to eat?" As Logan looked very young, Sylvie didn’t address him as sir.
"Grilled chicken, bread, and a cup of water," Logan said in a calm voice.
She nodded and walked off.
But before she reached the kitchen, trouble stirred.
A bulky man in attire, likely a local drunk, grabbed Sylvie’s arm as she passed by.
"Hey sweetheart," he slurred, "How about sitting here for a bit? Food can wait."
She flinched. "Please let go. I’m just here to serve."
A younger man at the next table stood up. "Leave her alone."
