REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO

Chapter 101: A QUIET MORNING

Luther’s jaw tightened. He looked at Logan again, and this time more closely.

"With all due respect," he said slowly, "this isn’t a game. We shouldn’t....."

He wanted to continue but Rowan’s look stopped him from saying more.

Logan on the other hand, just met his gaze silently, as if he hadn’t said anything unusual at all.

Luther frowned. He didn’t like it—but something told him that this boy wasn’t just bluffing. After all, he had years of experience in questioning people and seeing through their lies.

And Logan’s eyes? They may have belonged to a kid, but they weren’t the eyes of a liar, for sure.

Rowan set his cup down, his eyes lingering on Logan—not with suspicion, but with growing curiosity.

"You sound confident," he said in a low voice. "Can you really do it?"

Logan met his gaze calmly. "I’m not sure if I can make them talk," he said. "But it’s worth trying."

He looked toward the terrace railing. "They came after you, and you don’t seem to have bad blood with anyone. So this isn’t a personal vendetta, for sure. We need to know who sent them and what’s their prime objective. Getting answers is worth the effort."

There was no bravado in his tone. No showing off. Just quiet determination.
