REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO

Chapter 97: BAD NEWS

Solemon already knew what kind of questions he would face. And Leo didn’t disappoint him. But he was still hesitating.

Logan seemed to be well acquainted with the Third Prince. So surely, the prince knew about Logan’s abilities. He had to. But if the prince didn’t say anything, then he must’ve had his reasons. And he himself was still alive because of Logan. He was injured, yes, but if Logan wasn’t there, the Orc would’ve killed them all long ago.

Leo, though responsible and upright, felt a bit irritated seeing Solemon hesitate like that. For God’s sake, if they didn’t arrive in time, Solemon and the others would have already died. So his hesitation felt like an insult to Leo.

"What? After everything, you don’t think you owe us at least this much to share what actually happened here," Leo blurted out.

"It’s not what you think. It’s actually..." Solemon paused again. He was still unsure, thinking about the pros and cons of his next words.

"Actually what?" Leo pressed. The others were watching Solemon closely. They also wanted to know the truth—especially Duke and Hervy, since they both fought the Orc firsthand.

Solemon sighed and then spoke. But his next words shocked the whole group to their core.

"It was that kid you just talked to. He was the one who fought the Orc and kept it busy while we were handling the goblins and dire wolves."

He decided to come clean. The prince didn’t forbid him or tell him to stay silent. And it wasn’t a lie either. So it seemed okay to say it now.

At first, there was silence. The group couldn’t process what they just heard.

After a few seconds, Kyle’s voice broke the stillness. "What the f**k, man? We just saved you, and here you are. Messing with us. Do you think this is funny?"
