Chapter 44: There you are- sister.
Later that night, after wandering the deep forest for a while and killing a bunch of monsters, Sylus and Zani ran into the waterfall.
Since they had been working all this while with sticky black blood on their bodies, they both decided it was best to take a dip in the water to wash off.
Sylus went first, quickly washing his body before he then allowed Zani to go after him so he could keep watch.
Zani usually took her time to get ready; the same would most likely apply here as well.
Not wanting to watch her bathe, Sylus made his way towards the bushes, where he sat down on the ground, his back resting on a tree.
In his hand was the dagger he had used to slay not only the dying angel but every other monster he had run into.
’Hm... just as the karma shop said, my weapons can’t be damaged.’
A few years back, before Sylus started saving up his Karma points, he had used them to purchase a few weapons from the shop.
Three, to be exact.
The first was a bronze sword, which cost him about 35 Karma points.
A few months passed from that, and he realized the points needed were now fixed at 50, and his limit on Karma points he could hold had increased from 50 to 70.
