I reach the canteen, and as I enter, all eyes were on me.

I go take my seat at a corner, waiting for the waitress.

The canteen was a small building.

It was were those of low status come, undirect lineage come to eat here sometimes, a place for the less important, for the maids, and guards.

The inner court of the Dang Clan has another canteen for those of those of higher status within the clan, those of direct lineage and direct disciples of the Elders.
