Chapter 2489 Sparring with Keling(2)

"This is your last chance to apologize and fight me seriously," Keling warned Yuan, the muscles in her arm bulging like thick roots as she held the massive bowstring drawn back.

"I'll apologize if you can make me bleed even a single drop of blood," Yuan replied with a provocative smile on his face.

Keling's eyes widened at his words, and without the slightest hesitation, she released the bowstring.

Even without an arrow nocked, the sheer force unleashed by the string alone generated a terrifying shockwave that was powerful enough to effortlessly vaporize even an Immortal.

However, when the shockwave struck Yuan, the most it managed to do was stir his hair and clothes. To him, it felt no different from a gentle spring breeze.

Seeing this, Keling drew the bowstring once more. As she pulled it back, an arrow began materializing out of thin air, already nocked in place and ready to be fired.

Not wanting Meixiu to get caught up in their fight, Yuan used Void Manipulation to teleport both him and Keling far away.

'He can use Void Manipulation with such mastery?!' Keling cried inwardly after being teleported with him.

Unfortunately, she had no time to dwell on it. In the very next moment, she released the bowstring, launching the arrow forged from pure Celestial Qi straight at Yuan.

The arrow traveled at nearly the speed of sound, and wherever it passed, it left behind a thin trail of fractured space.

"Is that it?" Yuan muttered as he slightly raised his arm, effortlessly avoiding the arrow altogether.

Since Keling had no genuine intention of killing him, she had only aimed for one of his limbs.

Keling had already anticipated that Yuan would evade her first attack, so she immediately unleashed several more arrows in rapid succession without the slightest pause.

She fired them so quickly that it appeared as though a dozen arrows had been released at the same time, all of them flying at Yuan with perfect accuracy.

A smile tugged at Yuan's lips as he muttered, "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

In the next instant, he activated Heavenly White Tiger Transformation. Then, with a single swing of his clawed hand, he completely shredded every incoming arrow.

"?!?!" Keling's eyes widened with disbelief.

"Are you even human?!" she cried out loud.

"How rude!" Yuan laughed as he charged straight at Keling, throwing a simple punch toward her.

"Che!"

Keling reacted swiftly, but instead of trying to dodge, she raised her bow to block the incoming fist, instinctively realizing that she lacked the speed to evade it.

Clang!

A sharp metallic clang rang out through the area as Yuan's fist collided with Keling's bow.

Keling tried to withstand the impact, but the force behind the blow was so overwhelmingly powerful that she was instantly sent flying backward.

"Cough!"

After barely steadying herself, Keling coughed up a mouthful of blood, her arms trembling numbly from the impact.

'What monstrous strength! That single exchange alone shattered the bones in my arms! Could he also possess a giant's bloodline?'

Keling could not help but suspect that giant blood flowed through Yuan's veins as well, as it was the only explanation she could think of for such absurd physical power.

Keling trembled in fury as veins bulged across her forehead. In her entire life, she had never encountered anyone even remotely as irritating as Yuan.

Of course, Yuan did not intentionally belittle Keling and was genuinely surprised by how "fragile" she was.

What Yuan didn't know was that Keling was actually renowned for possessing a nearly indestructible body.

"Stop looking down on me!" Keling roared as she poured a tremendous amount of Celestial Qi into her bow, causing it to transform and rapidly grow in size.

"Is that really still a bow…?" Yuan raised an eyebrow at its new form, which now resembled a massive ballista more than an actual bow.

"Arrow Stream!"

In the very next instant, arrows began firing from the massive ballista like a turret, thousands of projectiles hurtling toward Yuan every second.

In response, Yuan raised his index and middle fingers, surrounding them with Supreme Sword Aura. Then, using his fingers as though they were a sword, Yuan began slicing through the incoming arrows.

His arms flickered at such incredible speed that countless afterimages appeared, making it seem as though he possessed multiple arms at once.

"Blink Arrow!"

Keling swiftly retrieved another bow and fired it at Yuan.

The moment the arrow left the bowstring, it vanished from sight. Then, as though it had teleported through space itself, it suddenly reappeared behind Yuan and shot toward his head.

However, just as the arrow was a mere millimeter away from piercing through Yuan's head, it suddenly vanished once again.

"Agh!"

Keling screamed in pain as a burning sensation erupted from her right thigh. When she looked down, her eyes widened to find a clean hole pierced through her leg.

Keling cried inwardly, fear surfacing in her eyes as she realized that Yuan's mastery of Void Manipulation had reached a realm she had never even heard of before.

Yuan spoke casually, but instead of calming Keling down, his words only enraged her even further.

Keling's eyes turned crimson as her body rapidly expanded in size until she resembled a true giant.

Seeing this, Yuan smiled and said, "Alright, I'll give you one final chance to injure me."

Keling gathered every bit of Celestial Qi she could muster and poured it into her bow. Then, she spat a mouthful of blood onto it, causing a crimson arrow to slowly take shape shortly afterward.

"DIE!" she roared.

The crimson arrow shot forth from the bow with unstoppable force.

Yet, despite the terrifying attack hurtling toward him, Yuan remained perfectly still, showing no intention of dodging or even attempting to block it.
