Chapter 201: Waging War Part 2
The Western King and Queen spent several prolonged seconds of silence as they processed the implications of the recent events that happened. Elys was boiling mad at the coincidence of the matter, while Aleksander on the other hand worried.
He was starting to believe the lie that the previous queen spread about him.
’Am I truly cursed and going to bring the kingdom into ruin?’ he asked himself. ’Have I done things to lead this war into my own kingdom?’
The young king did proclaim that he wanted to bring the Western Kingdom down to ashes, but he didn’t want other kingdoms getting in his own way of doing things at all.
The Eastern Kingdom wasn’t supposed to make a move. They were supposed to keep quiet and live peacefully just like how they believe in using no weapons.
Suddenly, the incident with Elys and the killing aura that tried to enter her office vanished in their minds. Elys and Aleksander’s heads were now occupied by one thing – the Eastern Kingdom’s presumed attack on the Western Kingdom.
"My king, what do you say our next move should be?" Elys asked her husband.
Aleksander bit the corner of his lip so hard that he eventually bled. Wiping the blood that had dripped to his chin, Aleksander sucked at his own blood and then spat to the ground.
"We are going to fight them if they even try to make any further steps towards the kingdom borders, my queen," Aleksander spoke. "The Eastern Kingdom won’t be a match with our armies of vampires who are full of magical affinities."
"Would you go battle as well, if worse comes to worst?" she asked him.
"Hell, I will kill those weak Eastern men if they even try to set foot on Western soil," Aleksander snarled.
