The Royal Revenge

Chapter 101: Hold My Hand

"Princess, help me fight for the crown," he pleaded despite his prideful self’s protests. Elys’ face was clearly in shock back then. She had just about stopped scanning through all the documents and organized her notes as she decided to go to bed. Her head swam with the prince’s parting words after he brought her dinner.

She wasn’t able to write down much, her concentration wandering towards the prince’s plead for her help.

"Should I just accept and help him fight?" she mused as she picked on her cold food.

A thunderous knock suddenly erupted outside her door, and the princess jolted with shock. Was it Cordelia? She never heard the maidservant knock that hard even when it was an emergency.

The princess walked towards her door and opened it, thinking it was probably something urgent that Cordelia had to talk to her about.

But to her surprise, the face that met her was not of an old lady with white hair and brown eyes. It was that of a pale face, dark raven hair, and cold silver eyes that stared back at her.

"Your highness?" the princess asked in shock. "What brought you here?"

The prince made a sudden movement, and with a swift movement, grabbed the princess’ hands. He pulled her closer to him and suddenly proclaimed, "I will prove to you my sincerity, Princess Elysianne. Help me get the crown, and I will give you your heart’s desires."
