The Crown's Fire

Chapter 91: My Future Queen

Tarah stirred as she slowly opened her eyes, blinking at the unfamiliar ceiling before her. Not that she wanted to wake up, however. She felt so comfortable in her current position that she had an urge to not move at all and sleep more. However, seeing the unfamiliar ceiling above her prompted her to rise from the bed.

"You’re finally awake."

Ezekiel’s voice echoed in the room, and she quickly turned to locate its source. Locking her eyes on his form, he was currently standing on the balcony under the glowing moonlight.

"Your Highness, I apologize... I slept..." she timidly murmured as she quickly got out of the comfortable bed. Glancing around the extravagant chamber, with its masculine aura and design, she could already tell it was the prince’s room.

"I’m sure you’re hungry, so just stay and I’ll have the servants deliver your meal here," he said, walking back inside from the balcony and heading straight to the door where she heard him giving out instructions to someone outside the room.

With nothing to do at the moment, Tarah composed herself before walking around the room. She still couldn’t believe she had passed out for this long. It was probably close to midnight right now, but she didn’t really mind. Her body was honestly exhausted, and she still truly lacked sleep even now.

In the past few days, she had become busy trying to perfect the teleportation spell. She knew she was running out of time, so she was pushing herself to her limit whenever she had the opportunity.

"Eat first, then you can go back to sleep," remarked Ezekiel, gesturing for her to join him.

As Tarah settled into the chair opposite to him, she couldn’t help but ask, "Is this your bedchamber?"
